Miss Mexico and Miss Supranational Mexico 2023 were crowned!
The Miss Mexico organization and its fans celebrate the election of two beautiful national queens who will participate in two world-class beauty pageants. Yesterday, the country of Tacos and Tequila elected the spectacular Alejandra Díaz de León as Miss Mexico 2023 and the stunning Vanessa López as Miss Supranational Mexico 2023.
Both young women were part of a select group of 32 candidates who competed for several weeks to prove that they were the ones to win and shout the name of their country internationally.

About the event
Miss Mexico 2023 was held at the Morelos Theater in the host city, Morelia. The direction was in charge of Joana Gutiérrez and Alejandro García, who did, in my opinion, a good job. Two groups of finalists were selected, one to find the one indicated for Miss World and another to reward the best one, heading for Miss Supranational.
While Miss Nayarit, Mónica Carillo, who would occupy a fourth place at the end of the evening, managed to enter the top 5; Miss Yucatán, Emmy Puerto, who was named third runner-up; Miss Sinaloa, Karla Rivas, named second runner-up; Miss Colima, Sofía Zamora, who was the first runner-up and will be responsible for occupying the position of Alejandra, the one selected as queen, in case the latter cannot fulfill her duties.
Other awards given during the evening were Miss Congeniality won by Amanda Ocampo, Miss Zacatecas, and Miss Photogenic Fernanda Cantú, Miss Puebla.
